Description of WP3 entitled signal processing and coding

The main goals of this work package are:

the design and performance analysis of adaptive and robust signal processing algorithms for resource sharing to exploit the additional degrees of freedom in multi-user and multi-cellular environments;
the design and performance analysis of the coding/decoding/processing schemes aware of the network structure, the PHY layer resource distribution, and the interference signals;
the establishment of models allowing the fair comparative evaluation of resource sharing schemes and to propose novel models for interference channels arising from passive and active resource sharing.
